2010 release. A great 2 CD career retrospective highlighting Jimbo’s recorded work from 1986-2010. Disc 1 includes 10 tracks , 1 track each from the 10 cds Jimbo released between 1986-1997, “Cotton”, “Palette”, “Jimbo”, ’Slow Boat”, “Penguin Parasol”, “Lime Pie”, “Panama Man”, “Rooms By The Sea”, “Flower” & “ Stone Butterfly”. Disc 2 features 11 tracks, all from Akira’s recordings released by King Records. These include: “ Brombo”, “Brombo II”, “Four Colors”, ’Get Up”, &.”Jimbomba. Highlights include 2 remixed/rearranged tracks from “Four Colors” featuring guitarist Frank Gambale and a unreleased tune “ Banana Jam” from the “Jimbo Gumbo” sessions..

just epic. THANK YOU! Akira Jimbo is the whole reason I discovered Japanese Fusion music. I'm looking up from my desk at my autographed poster, signed by him and Hiroyuki Noritake when I saw SYNC DNA - a life-changing day in my life! Thanks for this post, and thanks for continuing on with this blog. It's truly amazing JJ.

Dio, Did you see Synchronized DNA on their North American tour? If so, was it in the U.S.? I'm really curious if they came to the U.S., or they just toured Canada. Thanks!
